Skaters
To join our league, you must be over 18 years of age and have passed a new skater program elsewhere. We welcome transfer skaters to join us in improving their skills and enjoying the experience of playing roller derby. Frederick Roller Derby offers a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for skaters to practice their skills, make new friends, and have fun. New Skaters
Frederick Roller Derby is a league where our members feel safe and accepted - regardless of their experience level. Our league has a supportive culture that recognizes the importance of inclusive participation and individual growth. Our New Skater program is designed to be accessible to everyone, whether you currently skate or not. We have two rounds of new skater programs per year. We will teach the skills you need to be a successful skater and help you to build upon those skills.
